ause is necessary, the Palmetto Guard will not remain idle. They have volunteered their services for Virginia, and, towards the close of the week, will again buckle on the knapsack for the march. Without the border of their native Carolina, may their victories be as complete and as bloodless as that achieved on their own Palmetto shores.
