Mr. Logan, from the Committs on General Laws, presented a bill to incorporate the Confederate Insurance Company, which was read the first time and ordered to be read the third time. The House bill to authorize a connection between the Richmond, Fredericksburg and Potomac Railroad and the Richmond and Petersburg Railroad in Richmond, and between the Richmond and Petersburg Railroad in Petersburg, was taken up on motion of Mr. Robertson, and the question being on the third reading of the bill, on motion of Mr. Collier, it was laid upon the table, but on the further motion of Mr. Thompson, it was made the order of the day for Wednesday next.
