James E. Robinson and Thaddeus A. R. Hopkins, charged with stealing a silver watch from John A. Lafitte. Hopkins was acquitted; Robinson was convicted and sentenced to twelve months confinement in the city jail. Robinson was also tried in three other cases for stealing cloth from Chiles & Chenery, Beers " Spillman, and Alfred Tolleson.
