Lewis, a slave, employed by the Va. Central E. R., was charged with having a lot of flannel, bacon and other goods in his possession supposed to have been stolen, having been found upon him on Tuesday night, after 9 o'clock, on 17th street, without a pass.
As he could give no reliable account of himself he was ordered 25 iash
Claiborne McDowell, a fr negro, having in his possession a dirt, was ordered 25 lashes.
The case of G. B. Thomason, J. W. Sartin, and Carter Tadlock, who stand charged with assaulting and robbing Wm Rowe, a soldier, of $40, was continued until Saturday, the 3d prox, plaintiff being too ill to attend sooner.
The case of Joseph Gregor, charged with the murder of Michael Horan, was further continued until Saturday next.
Hustings Court, Judge Lyons presiding.--Several cases of unlawful retainer comprised the sole business of this Court on yesterday, at the conclusion of which the Court adjourned until the next term.
