Author; .born in Baltimore, Md., May 1, 1843; joined the Confederate army at the beginning of the Civil War, and served in a number of important actions.

Y.; History of the Confederate States Navy from the laying of the first keel to the sinking of the last vessel; and History of the State of Delaware.
