Carroll, arrested on Sunday last for feloniously cutting and stabbing George Taylor, on Main street, on Sunday last, was arraigned before the Mayor yesterday for examination. stantially to the following facts: At a late hour on Sunday afternoon Shaver Wiley and George Taylor, two soldiers, visited Mrs. Puss Rick's house, on Main street, between 23d and 24th, to get ley told him "all right," and learning that Carroll had a knife walked out of doors, followed by Taylor. They had been in the street but a few seconds when Carroll went out, and approaching Wiley cut at him. Wiley then knocked C. down, and walked into the house. As Taylor started in Carroll cut him severely in the left shoulder, inflicting an ugly and dangerous wound. Carroll then went to the Lis brags that he had just cut and killed two or three men with it. As soon as Mrs. Rick saw that Taylor was stabbed she sent for Dr. Sherrard, who dressed the wound and had the patient sent to Seabroo
