but two criminal trials in this Court on Saturday last. The first was that of Francis P. Blair, Jr., charged with stealing a lot of clothing, the property of Capt. Taylor.--The prisoner plead not guilty to the charge, and there being no evidence adduced to prove the larceny, Capt. Taylor being a prisoner in the Yankee lines, theCapt. Taylor being a prisoner in the Yankee lines, the jury acquitted the prisoner under the instructions of the Commonwealth's Attorney. [Young Blair is said to be a son of the notorious Francis T. Blair, of Missouri. He deserted the Federal army near Fredericksburg, several months since, and professing a desire to link his fortunes to the South was paroled and permitted to join a cavalry company.
