Runaway horses. --The horses drawing one of the Confederate wagons, loaded with saddles, became alarmed from some cause while passing down Main street yesterday forenoon, and made off in great haste, to the great terror of street passengers. They turned down 13th street by our office, running at high speed towards Shockoe Slip, the wagon coming in collision on its way with a buggy which it forced out of its track without serious damage, and the horses knocking a man down near the Columbian Hotel, close to which they were stopped. The name of the man, who received a severe bruise on his head, is Benjamin Jennings. He is from Powhatan county.
