Mr. H. G. Richardson, an enterprise citizen of Prince Edward county, Va, died last Monday night from the effects of a wound inflicted upon him with a scythe blade by one of his negro men. The barn of Mr. Geo. W. Vaughan, of Prince Edward county, Va, containing 12 hogsheads of tobacco, was destroyed by fire recently, and an attempt has since been made to burn his house. Wm. H.
