Bedford county, Va., which has one company already in service, has seven more awaiting a call to duty. It is said that Gen. Scottwill change his headquarters from Washington to Philadelphia. Tazewell, Botetourt, Smyth and Wythe counties are doing gloriously in the way of raising volunteer companies.
