Lamentable result of Carelessness. --Last Tuesday morning, Mr. Morris Slockbower, residing near Newton, N. J., was carelessly handling his gun, preparatory to going hunting, when, by some means, one of the barrels was discharged, the load taking effect in the side of his wife, and causing her death in a few minutes.
