Frightful tornado.
--The Northern portion of Utah Territory has recently been visited with a terrific hurricane, destroying a large amount of property, unroofing houses, and carrying before it everything movable.
The principal dwellings in the villages of Farmington and Ogden were blown down, and vast numbers of sheep, mules and other live stock were killed.
Fences and bay-stacks were swept away, and the amount of loss must be very considerable.
The tornado lasted for 48 hours.
