Extraordinary shots. --There are some good shots in the county of Essex, in this State, with the pistol as well as the rifle. A few days since, at a distance of over one hundred yards, Mr. John T. Young, a member of Capt. Cauthorn's Essex cavalry, shot and killed a wild turkey — he on his horse and the turkey running. The same gentleman, while on picket at the Rappahannock, shot and killed a wild duck at a distance largely over that mentioned above. These shots were made with an ordinary five-shooter.
