Thrasher, in the clerk's office of the District Court of the Confederate States for the Northern District of Georgia. From Charleston. Charleston, Feb. 2. --The enemy have discontinued firing on Sumter. One hundred and thirty-six shots have been fired at the city since our last report. The steamer Presto, Capt. Horsey, from Nassau, Jan. 29th, in attempting to run in about 2 o'clock this morning, got ashore on Sullivan's Island and remained immovable. Most of the cargo, which was on Government account, has been save in good condition. The enemy opened a heavy fire on the steamer at day light, and continued it all day. It is believed the vessel will be a total wreck.
