urney. These unfortunate people having shown some hesitation to leave their homes, a body of troops was sent to force them to comply with Mouravieff's orders. In Wilna the convoys for Siberia leave every other Friday. In order to destroy every mark of Polanism in the city, Mouravieff has ordered all the Polish inscriptions on thsh language to be no longer employed by tradesmen in making up their accounts, and the official language to be in all cases Russian, even on seals and stamps.
