Where Vallandigham crossed from Canada. --We have taken pains to ascertain the facts in the case, which are briefly as follows: For some time past the "martyrs" has been known to indulge in the pastime of fishing in Detroit river, a few miles below Sandwich, at the old "Red Tavern" On Tuesday afternoon he left the Busoni House for the above locality, where he remained till about half-past 9, at which time he was conveyed across the river at Wyandotte, where he took the Michigan Southern railroad. A man residing in this city is known to have purchased a took over this road for Cincinnati on that day, and as he did not leave the city at all, it is fair to presume that it was obtained for Vallandigham. He that as it may, "Vall" crossed the river at Wyandotte, he previously having been disguised to as to avoid detection, and at about ten o'clock he was on his way to Ohio in a sleeping car --Detroit-Advertiser.
