The Richmond Philharmonic Association --This association, composed of amateur musicians, whose rehearsals have been suspended since the commencement of the war, resumed their meetings and organization on Monday evening last. An election of officers took place, when the following gentlemen were chosen: Captain Henry Harny, President; C. E. McCleur, vice do.; K. H. Chamberlayne, Jr., Secretary; Emmet Tyler, Treasurer; and Harvey Rhodes, Librarian. A few select pieces from the opera and other compositions were sung, after which the meeting adjourned to meeting adjourned to meet every Monday night at 7 o'clock.
