Vance, of North Carolina, confirm the report that the Yankee raiders in that State, having been repulsed at two points, have returned to the coast: Weldon, July 29. --Gov. Vance:--A part of Ransoms's brigade met the enemy in large force yesterday P. M., about three miles this side of Jackson, and after an engagement lasting four hours drove them back.
