Alexander Waddell, Surgeon in charge of the Soldiers' Hospital at Staunton, has investigated the charges made in the Lexington Gazette, (and published in this paper,) respecting the appropriation of sick soldiers' "good things from contributors," by some of the physicians engaged there, and declares them to be groundless. It is gratifying to learn this, and we cheerfully give place to the correction.
