Penitentiary Convict Apprehended. --On Tuesday the pickets arrested a person calling himself Frederick Wells, clothed in a soldier's jacket and cap. who they detained and sent to Castle Thunder on the charge of attempting to go to the enemy's lines and as a suspicious character. Yesterday Wells was identified as Edward Barry, who, together with two other men, escaped from the Penitentiary last Friday night. He was immediately carried back to his old quarters.
