Accidentally shot.
--On Thursday last, Edward Lewellen and a young man by the name of Willis were proceeding from the city on a hunting excursion, when Mr. Lewellen leaped from the wagon in which they were riding to shoot a bird, and his gun accidentally catching in his clothing, he was shot severely in the wrist.
The wound is merely in the flesh, but suite painful.
We learn, however, that there is no necessity for an amputation of the limb.
