City Council. --The monthly meeting of the City Council was held last evening. The following members were in attendance; Messrs. Saunders, Grattan, Denoon, Haskins, Crutchfield, Wynne, Epps, Griffin, Hill, and Glazebrook. Sundry petitions were presented and referred to the appropriate committees. A communication from Col.
