Sudden death. --Capt. H. Young, a native of Kentucky, but for some years a resident of Baltimore, Md., was found dead in bed in one of the rooms at the American Hotel yesterday morning. Capt. Young was formerly a Captain in the Confederate service, but has more recently been a clerk in one of the Government Departments. On Monday night he appeared in the hotel in a drunken condition, and by some means gained access to a room which was unoccupied. When first found, which was quite early Capt. A physician was summoned, however, who pronounced all efforts at restoration impossible, and as the unfortunate man was known to have been on a "spree" for some time, the impression is that his death was caused from excessive dissipation.
