The Curtis Peck, Capt. J. H. Freeman, will commence daily trips down James river on Monday next.
This is a most excellent and pleasant route for visiting the camps of many of our soldiers stationed on the Peninsula, as the boat leaves here at 5 A. M., and returns at half-past 8 in the evening.
The steamer stops at the several landings on the river, going and returning.
The Hanover, Fluvanna and Chesterfield companies, as well as many of our own, are in the vicinity of Capt. Freeman's landings, and no better route could be offered for any of their friends desiring to visit them.
