Mr. Couldock, to-night. --We feel no little gratification in making the announcement that, after a somewhat protracted interregnum, the citizens of Richmond are to have an opportunity this week of seeing and hearing an excellent representative of the legitimate drama. We do not intimate that the young lady who has just leftess a portrayal of the standard drama by an actor of undoubted ability and experience, and hence we are glad that the managers have effected an engagement with Mr. Couldock. He is an actor of the old school, combining an easy and graceful manner with a thorough appreciation of his part. The play in which he appears tonight, the nce to visitors that the play to-night will afford an amount of recreation seldom to be enjoyed at a place of amusement. No one who attends will regret the investment of time or money. Before the close of his engagement, Mr. Couldock will probably play "Hamlet," and other great parts in which he has achieved a fine reputation.
