Accident. --On Thursday last, James, a bright little child of John A. Bailey, of Sussex county, Va., was so dangerously wounded by the accidental explosion of a gun that his leg had to be amputated. The little fellow was only six years old.
$10 reward. --One of my servants, named Robert James ran off on Thursday, the 7th. He is a Ditcher, exclusively, and took off his tools with him, with a view doubtless to obtain work on his own account, to which he had been accustomed before I purchased him. I will pay the above reward for his apprehension and delivery to me. James Lyons. P. S.--I have heard that he has seen offering himself in the lower part of the city as a well digger. J. L.
