Commenced. --Work will be commenced in earnest on the City Railway to-day, the employees of the company designing to break ground on Fair street, at Rocketts, per order of the Chief Engineer. This improvement, though a local one, will be of such vast benefit to our citizens that they will watch its progress with anxiety.
Boat upset. --A yawl boat, containing three men, lying alongside the steamer Schultz, as she was conveying passengers between the wharf at Rocketts yesterday evening, was upset, and the occupants spilled in the water. They were hauled out, sustaining no damage, save a good ducking.
