ch change in the system of taxation as the resolutions contemplated. Mr. Haymond said he was very anxious that a vote should be taken, and he therefore moved the previous question. Explanations were made by Messrs. Nelson, of Clark, and Parks, of Grayson. The vote was taken and the amendment adopted. The question then recurred upon the adoption of the amendment as a substitute for the resolutions. Mr. Boisseau moved to amend by inserting a provision for a report on the skins, Dorman, Dulany, Early, Echols, French, Fugate, Gillespie, Goggin, Cyrus Hall, Ephraim B. Hall, L. S. Hall, Haymond, Hoge, Hubbard, Hall, Jackson, Marmaduke Johnson, Peter C.
