Central Guards. --The Prince Edward county Central Guards, commanded by Captain Hughes, and numbering 54 rank and file, arrived in our city yesterday via Danville Railroad, and were mustered into service during the day, and afterwards proceeded to the Camp of Instruction, at the New Fair Grounds. The staunch old county from which the Guards hail has done nobly during the present war, having sent four companies to represent the rights and interests of her people. More of her citizens are now flocking to the defence of State rights, and we doubt not are long we shall have to chronicle the arrival of some half dozen other companies from the borders of Prince Edward.
