Johnson, of Arkansas, and Mrs. Fitzpatrick, of Alabama, were there, among others. Nothing is so painful in the present emergency as the breaking up of society here. Senator Trumbull is having his residence put in order for the reception of his expected guest, the President elect, who is expected here in February.
