Singular Casualty. --The Dayton (O.) Journal says that on Monday evening of last week, as the train bound for Cincinnati reached Carlisle station, Mr. Thayer, of Franklin, was instantly killed in attempting to jump off the cars before they stopped. He had been to Piqua after the corpse of his father, who died suddenly, and, in his hurry to get to the baggage car to take off the body, lost his balance and fell under the wheels.
