Kanawha county. --Extract from a letter from a Lieutenant in the Provisional Army of Virginia, dated Kanawha county, June 8th, 1861: "On to-day the attendance upon a regimental muster of two regiments amounted to between 300 and 400 men. To these, however, Judge Summers made a speech, warmly advocating the cause of Virginia, and calling upon all to protect her honor and safety.--This will have great weight, and I look for a large increase in the volunteer force. All the strong Union sional Army of Virginia, dated Kanawha county, June 8th, 1861: "On to-day the attendance upon a regimental muster of two regiments amounted to between 300 and 400 men.
