Contributions for the sick and wounded. General Hospital, Yorktown. Editors Daily Dispatch: Be so kind as to allow us, through your widely- spread columns, to thank "The Ladies of Soldiers' Relief Association" of Charleston, S. C, for 10 bags of rice, 3 cases blackberry wine, 1 box candles, 1 box Warren wines, "pure juice of the grape," 2 bags rice flour, and 1 case sundries, containing delicacies, &c. Also, Mrs Custis and Mrs. Shewell, of Williamsburg. Va., for a large bale of sundries; Mrs. Dr Selden, of Charles City, for mattresses and clothing, blackberry cordial, and many other articles for our sick; stating that all that these ladies have sent reached us safely, except the box of chickens sent by Mrs Selden. Trusting that these ladies, for their liberal donations, will accept my very grateful acknowledgments. I am, very truly, their ob't servant, Peter E. Hines, Surgeon G. H., Per Alex Hogg.
