Of the first affair the Plain dealer says: Fourteen men from company K, (National Guard,) Seventh Regiment, under Captain Shutt, were engaged on the 21st, near Cross Lane, Virginia. They were surprised by the Richmond Blues, who killed privates John Relie and John Shussier, wounded and took prisoners the captain himself Bohn; and privates Henry Luiber, George Wensennseck, F.
