Interesting from Europe.Atlantic telegraph Company--the English Press on American affairs. We continue our selections from the European news by the latest arrivals: Great Britain. At the annual meeting of the Atlantic Telegraphic Company, Hon. James Stewart Wortley, who occupied the chair, stated that Seward had addressed a dispatch to the American Ambassador at London, requesting him to bring the subject of telegraphic communication under the notice of the English Government, and offering to join in the enterprise. Lord Palmerston promised to receive the deputation on the 21st inst., which would be composed of members of Parliament and others interested in telegraphy. The following were elected directors in the place of those retiring by rotation: London — George Peabody, Francis Lebreton, and John M. Brett. New York — Cyrus W. Field and Wm. E.
