Cavalry dash on Front Royal. On Tuesday last, a detachment under Lt. Baylor made a dash upon the Yankees at Front Royal, in Warren county. The detachment numbered twenty-eight men, and the result of their expedition, according to one account, was the capture of the Provost Marshal of the place, two Captains and eight privates. Another account says they captured thirty of the Provost Guard, and eleven horses, and that they were afterwards charged upon by two companies of Yankee cavalry aFront Royal, in Warren county.
