House of representatives Monday Aug. 25, 1862. House met at 12 o'clock, and was opened with prayer by Rev. Mr. Boyce. Journal of Saturday read. Mr. Hanley, of Ark., asked leave of absence for his colleague, (Mr. Garland) who was detained from the House by sickness in his family. Mr. Gatther, of N.
