Police Court. --Patrick and Cyrus More field (colored) were arraigned Saturday at the Police Court--Patrick for shooting his brother with a pistol, and Cyrus for returning the compliment with a knife. Both were committed to jail.--Two negroes, male and female, were ordered to be thrashed for riding in a carriage without a permit.--James B. Denay, for trespassing on the Columbian Hotel, being suspected of stealing money from Moran, a soldier there, was committed to prison in Defant of security for good behavior — Jno T. Ellis, for stealing $80 from W. B. Layne, of Company B, Maryland Line, was sent to prison.
