McClellan's "congratulatory order to the Army of the Potomac for their recent victories;" Headqrs army of the Potomac, Camp near Sharpsburg, Md., Oct. 3, 1862. The Commanding General extends his congratulations to the army under his command for the victories achieved by their bravery at the passes of the South Mountain and upon the Antietam creek.
