His mother and brother (Martin) lived together at Schonon, Pyritz, about six English miles from the retreat in the forest. They and Martin's wifeMartin's wife were speedily seized and thrown into prison on suspicion. In their dwelling were found an axe, on which traces of blood were still discovered, and a quantity of articles belonging to the same robberies as did those found in the hole in the woods so leader, Karl, Maasch. On a microscopic examination of the three axes from the hole and the fourth found at the house of Martin, unmistakable traces of this horrid six fold murder were perceived. On one axe, stuck, a small portion of human brain; o which she wore on the night of the murder. Another axe still retained traces of the children's bedclothes. Prison Items. --The following parties were put in Castle Thunder yesterday: James Jamison, 21st Va., by his Colonel; Charles D bbs 9th Va., desertion; James Broderick, Letcher Artillery, desertion, 3d time, F W. Seaton, sent from Western district for medical treatment, J. W. Jefferson, conscript; C. Hall, 53d Va., desertion; A. Cobbell, 1st N C., desertion; R. M. Reed. 18th N. C. desertion; F. J. Perkins, to be sent to his reg't, 46th Va; William Crapper, Hawkins's Battery, desertion; James Franklin, 5th Va cavalry, desertion; Richard Martin disloyalty; A. M. Reary, 2d Miss. battalion, to he kept till called for for bad conduct at hospital No, 20. Three female inmates of Castle Thunder, viz; Mesdames Webster, Underwood, and Jameson, were sent North yesterday by flag of truce.
