Police Court. --Recorder Caskie, sitting yesterday in the absence of the Mayor, fined Jno, Cavanaugh $1 for appearing at Metropolitan Hall drunk. Mary Smith was sent to the Huntings Court for stealing $125 from Jos Kepler. John W. Marion was fined $1 for drunkenness on Main street. Sarah Davis was sent before the Hustings Court (and balled) for receiving a lot of shoes and calico, knowing the same to have been stolen. Ban Warner, who had helped himself to another man's meal and bread was let off. Michael Ward, free negro, ordered 12 for stealing wood of the Confederate States. Richard Davis, free, got 25 for not having his papers, and going about with a big Bowie knife on his person.
