C. S. Court. --Judge Halyburton held a session of his Court yesterday to hear a habeas corpus case. The party interested was John R. Lane, a soldier, who has lately become a mail contractor, and who is sung for a discharge under the act of Congress exempting mail contractors from military service. Gen. G. W. Randolph represented the C. S. Attorney in his absence, and Judge Caskie appeared for Lane. After hearing elaborate arguments, the Judge took until Thursday to examine the various acts of Congress relative to exemptions, when he will give his decision.
