The non-arrival of the Central train last night left us without any direct intelligence from the army of Gen. Lee.
The news which we have from Fredericksburg assures us that the Yankees have once more made their appearance on their old stamping ground in Stafford county.
About 9 o'clock on Monday morning, some five hundred Yankees were near Brooks' Station, which is about nine miles from Fredericksburg and four from Aquia creek.
The impression is that it was a more raiding party.
The detention of the Central train resulted from an accident between Waynesboro' and Charlottesville.
