Surgical operation. --A remarkable surgical operation, upon Dr. Stribling, of Staunton, the distinguished Superintendent of the W. L. Insane Asylum, has been lately performed with entire success by Drs. Gibson, Peachy, and Petticolas. The many friends of Dr. Stribling, and of the institution which owes so much to his eminent skill and energy, will be rejoiced to hear that he is considered by his physicians out of danger, and with cheering prospects of restored health and usefulness.
