100 dollars reward. --A negro man named John Washington, impressed of me by Maj. R. P. Archer, Quartermaster at Bacon Quarter Branch, for the Government shops, has absented himself since Saturday evening last, and I have reason to believe is making his way to the enemy's line in company with his wife, Elizabeth, (slave of Dr. B. Burwell, of this city,) who, I understand, left her master on Sunday last in company with him.--He is owned by Mr. L. H. Ingram, of Northumberland county; he is about 35 years of age, of black complexion, about 5 feet 10 inches in height, stout and well made, and wears a full head of hair. The above reward will be paid for his delivery to me or to Maj. Archer. Thos. J. Bagby, Agent, No. 8 Wall street. fe 6--1t
