--A Yankee deserter from Meade's army was carried to Lynchburg Tuesday night and lodged in the guard house.
He gives as a reason for his forsaking the fortunes of Old Abe, that he heard Mr. Lee was twine to have a big muster down on the Happy Ann, and he did not care to stay to it for fear he mont girl hurt.
