Three hundred dollars reward. --Ran away on the 8th March, my negro man John. He is 25 years old, 5 feet 7 or 8 inches high, very stout buils; has a round face, high forchead, full head hair, and of good countenance, very black, and with blacksmith; had on when he left jeans pantaloon blue jacket, and a pair of boots; be was reject Powhatan county by Philip St George Cocke. purchased him of John N. Sedgwick in December last. I will give the above reward for him livered to Lee & Bowman, Richmond, Va, or at Wytheville, Va. He is supposed to be make him way to the county of Pewhatan.
