y morning and disposed of the following cases: John M. Herndon was admitted to practice law in the Courts of this Commonwealth. By the consent of the Attorney for the Commonwealth, a nolle prosequi was entered in the case against Richard L. Bohannon, charged with stealing a gold watch from Col. J. H. Edwards, at the American Hotel, some months since. Bohannon was thereupon discharged. Granville Montelle, indicted for shooting Susan Hill, a free negro, was bailed in the sum of $1ichard L. Bohannon, charged with stealing a gold watch from Col. J. H. Edwards, at the American Hotel, some months since. Bohannon was thereupon discharged. Granville Montelle, indicted for shooting Susan Hill, a free negro, was bailed in the sum of $10.000, on condition that he appear at the next term of the Court to answer the charge. In consequence of the election, which takes place to-day, no Court will be held till to-morrow. The Grand Jury has adjourned over till Monday next.
