200 dollars reward. --Left my farm, in Hanover county, last Friday evening, a negro man named John, about 18 years old, come 5 feet 8 or 9 inches high, dark mulatto color; has a spot of white hair about the size of a walnut just over his forehead; this mark is very peculiar, the balance of his hair being entirely dark color; sterner form, talks slowly when spoken to. It is likely he will endeavor to get to a North Carolina cavalry regiment which was encamped on my place about three weeks ago, as I hear he has acquaintances with this regiment. He was brought about fifteen months ago to Richmond from Onslow county, N. C. I will pay the above reward for his apprehension and delivery in Richmond to Lee &Bowman, or if confined in any jail so that I can get possession of him. T J Wooldridge, Gren Allen P O. je 30--4t*
