The prize schooner Julia, of Nassau, with an assorted cargo, was captured off Brazos river, on the 5th, by the United States steamer Dacotah. She had arrived safely at New Orleans. The gunboat Narcissus was blown up in Mobile Bay, on the 9th instant, by a torpedo. No lives were lost, but several persons were scalded. All the material was saved. The boat will probably be raised. General Dana has ordered all arms, ammunition and military pyrotechnics in the hands of private citizens to be shipped north of Cairo previous to the first of January.
